Welcome to the Memory Academy Website

The Memory Academy is a Dublin-based business that provides courses and products aimed at helping people to improve their ability to learn and to remember. Those courses and products are principally aimed at three groups of people:

• Examination students - who need techniques to help them remember what they study,
• People learning a foreign language - who need ways of memorising vocabulary and grammatical rules,
• Executives - who need to learn factual information to stay up to date at work..

They are also suitable for people who are not currrently studying, but who want to improve their ability to learn and remember factual information.

The Memory Academy would like to thank all those who took part in the Ronald House Memory Challenge on the 10th of Feburary or who made a contribution to the charity. We will continue to donate €5 Euro for every copy of our book How Best to Learn and Remember for Leaving Certificate which is purchased from this website.

OUR COURSES

We provide 1-day, evening and weekend courses in memory improvement and learning techniques for examination students throughout the academic year. These courses are open to all students whether they are second-level, third-level, mature students or are preparing for professional examinations.

Although this book is aimed at Leaving Certificate students, the techniques that it teaches can easily be learnt and applied by any students, regardless what exams they are studying for. There are further examples of how to use the techniques to study different subjects and different types of information on this website, with more examples being added every week.

The Memory Academy will be producing a more general book aimed at all exam students in September 2006, and also plans a more general book for exam students and a book on how to learn a foreign language for early 2007. You can find more details about our future titles HERE
